HDMI Cable Component - Consider this before buying HDMI cables

HDMI Cable Component - Consider this before buying HDMI cables

Hdmi

If you buy in the market for HDMI cable, the selection is overwhelming. One problem I noticed is the use of the term component cable to HDMI. I am unaware of what people actually search for this term.

Let me try to explain. The component cable is an update of the old composite cables, gave you a cable for video and two channels, left and right for the sound. Composite cable has not been able to support digital signal processing. The component cable it came withthree cables, but in this case were for the three color channels (red, green and blue), supported by TV at that time. They have the image quality, but only if it had been inserted correctly. This cable is only support for analog signals and thus is not compatible with HDMI, as well as signals to and from the high-definition digital equipment.

So, for the last cable, designed to provide digital signals to provide the most transfer date home entertainment devicessuch as HDTV, Blu-ray, 1080p and 1080i cable and satellite, and the latest 3D-TV. Where are the best of the previous generation of cables used 3 cables, HDMI cables use a total of 19 all well wrapped in a shroud. The result is a cable diameter is about as healthy as a USB cable, making it ideal for installation in audio / video system.

Between 0 and 1, is offered without abandoning completely, they become poor image of the highest quality currently possible. Well, if yourTV, DVD player, etc. is not HD ready then buy these cables is a total waste of money and to be honest, probably would not have HDMI ports anyway.

My point here is that there is a big difference between the two, and there is no such thing as HDMI component cables. Before you buy HDMI cables to be sure that your TV is HDMI and if it would be a fool not to use them.

AudioQuest Cinnamon 1.5m (4.92 ft.) Black/Red HDMI Cable Overview

Treat yourself to high-performance Cinnamon from AudioQuest's 'Indulgence Series' of HDMI cables. Boasting solid 1.25% silver-plated Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors, Cinnamon delivers low jitter, low distortion audio as well as superb picture quality. Cinnamon's signal conductors are controlled for digital audio direction. The bi-directional Ethernet communication and audio return channel is enabled. AudioQuest has a well-earned reputation as a manufacturer of exceptional analog video cables. However, the advent of HDMI in 2004 presented a new set of design challenges that needed to be solved. In order for AudioQuest to maximize audio and video cable performance over HDMI, new materials and higher levels of manufacturing precision were employed to handle the high-speed, wide-bandwidth signals of HDMI. While the basic blueprint for HDMI cable construction was established by the HDMI steering committee (HDMI, LLC), AQ examined areas that could be optimized within the established framework. Several of the analog audio and video design elements that have proven so important over the years turned out to be meaningful to HDMI signal design. Solid core conductor technology, conductor metallurgy, insulation material and overall precision of manufacture have all been carefully optimized to create a superior line of HDMI cables. With the Indulgence Series of HDMI cable, AudioQuest is proud to introduce the next evolution of HDMI cable performance. Why the word "indulgence"? When we set aside the time for audio/video entertainment in the home we are, after all, allowing ourselves a bit of well-earned personal indulgence. We allow ourselves time for emotional transportation via video and sound.
